Hello! I’m Dylan Mahler. I graduated from UC: Santa Cruz in June 2025 with degrees in Computer Science and Electronic Music.
I currently develop games and produce music as EchoLane. My debut title, BubbleBeast DigiDungeon, was nominated for Best Student Game at the 2026 Independent Games Festival (IGF)!
I have 5 years of experience with gameplay programming and design, and a passion in my heart for modular and designer-friendly tools; flexible roguelike-style effect systems; and unique relationships between music and gameplay!
I'm a lover of birds, roguelikes, and clarinet. In college, I helped run UCSC’s game development club, GDA!
